ÇANAKKALE ONSEKIZ MART UNIVERSITY

Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMU) was established in 1992 and has grown rapidly into a comprehensive public university offering a wide range of academic programmes. Today, the university provides education in many fields, including medicine, engineering, business administration, fine arts, theology, and teacher education.

ÇOMU is a dynamic, progressive, and modern university operating in line with international standards. It applies the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) alongside the national credit system and has been awarded both the Diploma Supplement (DS) Label and the ECTS Label by the European Commission.

The university is committed to delivering high-quality education and strong research opportunities. The International Relations Office – European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Unit supports young people in discovering and developing their abilities through volunteering and active participation in civil society. The unit has the organisational, administrative, and financial capacity to prepare, coordinate, and implement projects, as well as to send and host volunteers.

ÇOMU actively supports disadvantaged individuals and strives to ensure equal opportunities for all. Additional mentoring and tailored support can be provided for those facing social, educational, or cultural challenges, helping them to participate fully in academic and social life.
